I liked it but I get why people would find it boring and confusing. It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea. I loved the dark atmosphere the movie had. The lighting, costumes, color scheme, etc were really well done in my opinion. The plotline was slow and there really isn't an "ah ha" moment at the end. This being said the acting was incredible and the music added to the mood in just the right spots. It's not for everyone but if you want an aesthetic movie and have an hour and a half to spare, I'd check it out.

Now THIS is peak cheesy horror movie right here. Not a lot of plot, too many jump scares, and sucky characters. I hate the rich, stuck up, basic main characters. They lack any depth. Don't watch this if you're looking for intereating movie with plot. Do watch if you want bad horror movie to put on in the background or to watch during a sleepover.

Yeah it was bad but like Instagram ad bad. You have no clue which wrong path it will turn down so you have to watch to find out what the writers will mess up next. Is someone going to die or get laid? Will a random character emerge from the woods? Perhaps someone will explode into a pile of guts. So, so much gore and that's coming from a person who loves to see the interesting ways writers torment the characters. (I'm not weird I promise.) But there was so much fake blood and screaming that it seemed that the writers knew their script sucked and were trying to cover it up with as much red makeup as possible. +1 star for the cool sets/ location

**NO SPOILERS (yay)** I have never been scared by horror movies. At least that was true about an hour and a half ago. This was the most terrifying thing I've seen. I know most won't agree with me but the documentary style of film and the lack of creepy music (for the most part) really adds a sense of realism. There were also a lot of very real situation that would arise from going into catacombs, i.e. small spaces, steep drops, no light, etc. The supernatural just amplifies the terror. If you're looking for jump scares or gore, this is not the movie for you. That being said I still highly recommend this movie.

They used different spooky ambient noise each scene which was kind of distracting but overall it wasn't a bad psychological horror film. Watch something else if you want more gore or jump scares.
