I really wanted to love this book, as it came highly recommended. I found the narrator to be quite ignorant and privileged, and much like other reviewers, that tone really aggravated me throughout. It’s easy to be “Untamed” when you’re wealthy, white, pretty, and able-bodied. The “hardships” she claims to have faced in her life and the massive adversity she seems to claim to have overcome by leaving her husband for a renowned sports star can and should be scoffed at by those who have known real oppression.
