The concept of this movie freaked me out. I love horror movies and watch them often and this one left that feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach. It's going into the mental file of just a handful of movies that have disturbed me and that I'll never watch again. I really can't explain it, maybe it's that I'm claustrophobic but something about this movie bothered me and stuck with me for a bit after watching.

I've watched this movie a couple of times and think it's a really good movie. It's just as good if not better than the one from Blumehouse that came out a year later. I do agree about the ending, it's not the worst ending I've ever seen but it kind of leaves you wondering to form your own theory of if they live or die but for me personally it doesn't take away from how much I enjoyed the rest of the movie. I watched this movie the night it premiered and remember being impressed that it was a made for tv movie on SYFY. I'd recommend watching it for yourself and forming your own opinion before writing this movie off. It's definitely worth a watch imo.

I was fully expecting not to like this movie after reading some of these reviews. I'm so glad I decided to watch it and make my own mind up. I would've missed out on a movie I ended up really liking and will most likely watch again. It goes to show how different our individual preferences are. I've watched a few movies this week while being in quarantine and this was one of the movies I enjoyed most. It has plot twists and unexpected moments. The characters were interesting, the actors were great, the fantasies played out in a dramatic way. A lot was happening but connected together perfectly. It was fully entertaining and held my attention from start to finish. It helped that I wasn't trying to compare it to the Fantasy Island the whole time. It allowed me to watch it and enjoy it as a fresh, new take without judgement. In my honest opinion it's definitely worth a watch.
