I went in expecting a big dumb summer blockbuster and got exactly what I expected. I caught myself rolling my eyes on numerous occasions at the excessive melodrama. But Momoa was perfect in every scene and transcended the franchise. Statham is ever the scene stealer and Cena was a treat. The rest of the cast is starting to feel a bit dated.

This movie had the weight of the universe on its shoulders. But it stood up and smashed it out the park. Definitely won't be looking at your watch. The fastest 3 hours of my life.
