The movie was straight up bad. Just bad. There was nothing interesting. Zendaya's acting was as usual.. wooden and completely lacking of emotion. John was also bad. Maybe, it was the script but meh.. The movie is just these two reading monologues one after the other. One yells for 6-7 minutes.. The other responds with their 7 minute long monologue. And that is just it. For almost 2 hours. The relationship is toxic from the start. Yikes. The movie was bad. And I don't know how anyone thinks Zendaya can act well. She's an amazing dancer and a good singer. She seems chill but a good actor, she sure is not. I expected better when I read all the good reviews and people saying her acting was fantastic. They said the same about "Euphoria" and her acting was a disappointment in it as well. And I had genuine feelings for every character except for hers because it was acted very badly. Thought this one would be different. It's not :/ I wasn't expecting much from John, anyway, So I was less disappointed with his acting. Don't get me wrong. He was bad but I expected that. So, it's less disappointing. I wish Z would take more acting classes and improve upon her acting skills because oh, boy does she need them. So, if you wanna watch two people have non realistic conversations and yadda yadda yadda for an hour and forty five minutes(trust me, it feels longer), go ahead and watch this and if you felt that the actors did a good job, I suggest you watch better movies and understand what good acting is because this movie just doesn't deliver. Anything. Disappointed.
