This is not a Child's Play remake, or anything close to that. If you are looking for an I-Robot remake doll version, this is the film for you. Very little gore, cliche jump scares, and a very subtle story line. I wish they would had stuck with the serial killer possessed doll story instead of changing it to a factory malfunction. All the modern day technology also ruined it with the built in camera within Chucky and the app that everyone seems to have downloaded. I would strongly suggest waiting until it comes out on Amazon Prime or Netflix instead.
