***Spoiler Lite Review*** If you've seen the first three, this will be a great nostalgia trip for you, as a few of the beats from the first movie (the opening of the movie is nearly a shot for shot recreation) and even a bit or two from the sequels show up. It will help you understand what is going on, because the first act gets a bit confusing. The second act helps clear up things through exposition, and the third act is pretty much solid action with some surprises and a decent payoff for the series as a whole. Definite room for sequels, the ending felt a lot like the end of the first movie. It wasn't as good as that movie, which is a high bar to meet, but it beats the sequels. Worth a watch.

This is the Star Wars that we have been waiting for since 1983. Avoiding PC culture and simply delivering a good show with great action, a bit of fan service for those who know the Star Wars universe at large, and just a dash of heart with "The Child". This creature, introduced early in the season, is more commonly known in Pop Culture as Baby Yoda; although this story takes place 5 years after Yoda's death in Return of the Jedi. Not many shows have a main character that never shows his face, and can carry a story without speaking for nearly half an episode (see episode 2). Guest stars come and go in this series often, and there are so many cameos and visual Easter Eggs from all across the Skywalker Saga films, Anthology films, Clone Wars TV series, and other canon that this show could possibly go on forever... Or as long as Baby Yoda holds a warm place in our hearts.
