Great acting. Very relevant! It captures the essence of fake news and political manipulations by people who don't care about either side. BTW, towards the end Gabi did not stay in NYC because she was not as capable as the rest of her family and she did not "make it there" - that's my educated guess since I know the Polish culture. The pressure on the girl to find herself would have been huge. She suffered humiliation, as Tomasz did at the beginning of the film. The film shows the making of the criminal mind. Nothing new in film, but still horrifying and shown in the unique, Polish, context. Especially in light of the killing of the liberal Gdansk mayor in 2019, this film discussing crucial problems of our times in Poland and around the world.
