Awful movie. They spent so much on special effects that they forgot to write a plot. My friend who went with me said that you needed to know Napoleon’s story to have any clue what was going on, but if you knew his story you’d end up irritated by that movie. Joaquin Phoenix was terrible. He seemed like he ended up in the movie because he was doing a favour or lost a bet. Absolutely no chemistry between the leads. Probably one of the worst movies I’ve seen in a long time.

The storyline is nonsensical. None of the characters were appealing and the ending was terrible. No conclusion at all.
