I have read several negative reviews for this movie, mostly asking how a beautiful WHITE blue eyed blonde feel true discrimination just for being tall. It's a movie people. It's about a teen girl's struggles in high school. Nobody is claiming she isn't getting a job because she is tall. She isn't getting paid less because she is tall. It isn't about discrimination, it is about a teenager who is getting hassled for being tall. It happens. It is happening to my daughter who is six foot in the ninth grade. It has nothing to do with race. It has nothing to do anything other than the teasing and bullying a tall girl in high school went through....in the made up world of Hollywood. It happens just as short people or unfortunately people with real handicaps or physical issues. High school students can be mean, sad but true. If you want to negatively review the movie then review it artistically. There is enough racism in this world, do not insert it where it isn't. I loved the movie. My opinion based on the movie itself not what society has made the meaing of racim to become.
