Quite simply a magnificent film. Reeves achieved his goal of The Batman as The World's Greatest Detective investigating a complex plot set out by The Riddler. Set in Batman Year Two this film focuses on a journey as Batman becomes the character we know. There are at least three main plots within the film which intersect each other and carry that through the running time. The acting is incredible, including a fabulous performance from Pattinson, Wright as a a Jim Gordon who is a light of honesty in the grim world and Farrell is unrecognisable. Special mention to Paul Dano as The Riddler...truly chilling. I saw the film on IMax and if you can I recommend that as it's visually spectacular. Overall one of the best Batman films and definitely worth going to see.
