Shallow song was the strongest side of the movie, it conveyed the feeling that we couldnt have got, but through a song. I personally loved the movie, but too much of closeups made it noticeable even to those who dont care much about cinematography. Cooper and Gaga had a great chemistry, which I couldnt have guessed at all, but still, A star is born could work more upon characterizations of the two main characters.
