Honestly, ever since watching Squid Game, I have been hooked on to it. From Red Light, Green Light to Tug of War, all games (except last game of Squid Game) presented a new challenge which was directed beautifully with a great cast. Always watch with Korean audio as English dubbing is awful!
SPOILERS! My only criticism is the last episode which although had a twist as the old man (Oh Il-Nam) was the mastermind behind the Squid Game organisation, I felt that the episode was a drag as when Gi-Hun and Il-Nam play the final betting game of if someone helps the drunk man outside the window with a time limit of 30 mins (ends at midnight), the director could have used this to explain the events of how Il-Nam created this organisation and what happened after Gi-Hun beat Il-Nam in the Marbles game.
Also, the ending of Gi-Hun aspiring to destroy the organisation was slightly far-fetched but we will have to wait for Season 2!
Finally, even though reasons were given for why this was so poor in Squid Game, I could not avoid the fact of how bad the VIPs were. With weird remarks and unnatural acting, they were pretty average and I hope to not see them again because that would bring the show down drastically!
Overall, a great series to remember and a definite Netflix hit! The cast was absolutely amazing and the whole concept was mind-blowing! The gore was actually surreal and although shocking, adds to the story brilliantly!
