So what, be it STUDENT OF THE YEAR, here 2 TIGER SHROFF is full on his HEROPANTI, a tailor made role for him in this successful franchisee he proves why he is the STAR that he is now be it with his dances, act or action in this typical popcorn entertainment what this movie is, fast paced it is the story of love, deceive, revenge,competition & sports all at college level, both the debutants ANNANYA PANDEY & TARA SUTARIA are CONFIDENT & PROMISING, also the BAD BOY in this college ADITYA SEAL is GOOD & seals it with his villianous act, in the supporting roles as TIGER FRIENDS the actors are hillarious & entertaining PUNIT MALHOTRAs direction is superb & so is the music especially the remix of yesteryears hit YEH JAWANI HAI DIWANI, the highlight of the film is the climax, the well picturised KABBADI MATCH which keeps the audience engrossed Another hit for TIGER, not only the son of HERO but himself a true HERO he is ... kya BHIDU In the film he is awarded the STUDENT OF THE YEAR, for me he is the STAR of this GENERATION

A film highly mounted, a big starcast, eye pleasing visuals, made on a grandeur scale , so far so good but then what about the soul, the basics, the script, at a running time of around 160 minutes the story line to hold the interest of the audience, all this proves to be a KALANK in the making of this film, the intention of the director ABHISHEK VERMAN seems good & strong but personally feel that he got carried away with it's canvas, yes the music & dances are good but it's relevance to the going on is not well timed Set somewhere around pre independence & partition it's a love story, rather a puzzled one & with the HINDU-MUSLIM issue, also with a revengeful purpose SONAKSHI married to ADITYA is suffering from an illness & is soon going to die but wants & also gets her husband married to ALIA who later on gets close & falls in love with VARUN who now is the illegitimate child of SANJAY thru MADHURI, a courtesan whereas ADITYA is the legitimate child of SANJAY, in between all of them is KUNAL KHEMU a leader of his Muslim party in the area & has a conflict with ADITYA ,now all this might seem confusing while you are reading this but more than that seems painful when you sit through it watching on the big screen, especially after you have come with high expectations, likewise there is a scene in this KALANK of a film when both our heroes yell loudly to let out their frustrations, well wish i could have done the same watching this COLLOSAL DISAPPOINTMENT, to top of it at the very end ALIA actually asks the audience to judge now whether this WELL MADE DISASTER is actually a KALANK or a MOHABAAT EPIC( something like this ), now do we have prizes for guessing SANJAY DUTT after his return to bollywood is i believe hell bent on returning back to home if he continues doing such movies & more to that such roles, he definitely deserves much better for even now he has a great personality, still he has the quality of being a NAYAK or even a stronger KHALNAYAK Watching the DIVA, EK DO TEEN(she has hold those 3 top position through out her career)MADHURI DIXIT here was never so disappointing for me in my entire MOVIE WATCHING CAREER 😜 SONAKSHI SINHA, well watching her in this movie & only one question popped up WHY, but then better to be KHAMOSH ADITYA ROY KAPUR, well this is not the kind of AASHIQUI he deserves Yes if it was not for ALIA BHATT, KHUNAL KEMMU & the TOPMOST VARUN DHAWAN , this KALANK would have been renamed as KALANK NO 1

A spectular love story with the age old successful formula of the inter-caste , here between a HINDU GIRL & a MUSLIM BOY, the girl, more rebellious belonging to a priestly family & the boy the local porter, a pitthu who carries the tourists who are visiting KEDERNATH for DARSHAN, on a pilgrimage & then as expected opposition from the girls family but then comes the difference here in this story, set in the year 2013 in KEDERNATH in UTTARAKHAND , the unfortunate disaster which happened comes here in action in the climax of the movie & how the MUSLIM hero not only saves his heroine & her family but also a HINDU GUJARATI tourist family sacrificing his life Very well directed by ABHISHEK KAPOOR the film would have been more appreciated if it had a good music, except for NAMO song there is no other good song, still the movie is worth a watch not only for SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT'S sincere perfomance but more than that for the VISUALS, MR TUSHAR KANTI RAY the cinematographer has come up with an eye pleasing & award winning photography, one just cannot afford to miss this beautiful scenario on the gigantic screen , also as it should have been the climax is well shot & presented holding the attention of the audience but the REAL STAR of this film is the DEBUTANT SARA ALI KHAN, full of confidence she is sure to be soon the most sought after actress , she is a REPLICA of her talented mother AMRITA SINGH who too was full of confidence in her time but with due respect, SARA seems too have more spark & talent needed today what with more competition around Overall a movie you might love but for sure will not hate

SPECTACULAR is one word which comes to my mind after watching this film, sequel to ROBOT, now 2.0 CHITTI the Robot is back & now has to save the city & its people from PAKSHIRAJAN, a character who is actually a kind hearted soul, a bird lover & has noble intentions but then goes grey as for the harm caused to the birds due to excess of mobile towers... The movie has no music to rave about but its grandeur & effects are on par with any Hollywood movie, not the typical action one is used to be seeing in a RAJNI SIR movie but still there are many a scenes where the audience does go crazy clapping & whistling & in his trademark style RAJNI SIR does his cigar move in the climax action which again by itself is a treat to watch Goes without saying that RAJNI SIR is the SOUL, the STAR of this movie but then no less is MR AKSHAY KUMAR, even in a negative role he gets standing ovation, his get up as the aged man reminds of yesteryears actors who used to play both father & son in one film convincingly especially JEETUJI, also his body language & expressions are praiseworthy & then his switch off to an entire evil character is also equally clapworthy. Once again here too in this film AKSHAY has a message for his audience as in his past few films Mr SHANKAR's Direction is TOP CLASS With RAJNI SIR's popularity in south & Mr AKSHAY's popularity in north & both equally popular in MUMBAI there is no reason for this BIG SCREEN EXTRAVAGANZA not to be a BLOCKBUSTER
