ACTION MOVIE OF THE YEAR, IF NOT THE DECADE As some one who has watched tons of action movies, I'd say this is right up there with the best. In my mind, the best is films like Die Hard, and while I can't say this is better, it's at least pretty close or on par. Why is the film great: 1. Does it have over the top action? Yes. But the director makes you feel like it's possible. So if you want to watch an action thrill ride that feels realistic, you need to watch this. 2. Incredible filming - The biggest action sequence in the film seems like one continuous shot and it's just incredible. It makes you feel like you are right there. Even if you don't watch this on the best screen, the filming is done so well that you definitely experience what the director wants you to. 3. The fight sequences are insane. 4. Can I watch this with my wife/girlfriend? Chris Hemsworth. 5. Does it have heart? Despite it being an action thrill ride, the film shows just enough of the background of the characters and what they go through to make you care. You may even have to have tissues. 6. The story line is simple. But then again, if you look at the top grossing films, most of them are. The Joe Rousso is not trying to outsmart us, or make clever twists and turns. He has done just enough to make you enjoy the story, believe the story and care for the characters. In my mind, that's all you need.

Just when I thought good family shows were no longer around, this one rocked up. Talented cast, captivating story, great music and characters you generally care about. Well worth watching

Over the top action that seems aimed at a younger audience, yet the language, sexual content and gore is for an older audience. They would have done better to pick their audience first before making the movie.
