I really enjoyed this series. I liked how it picked up in the amount of years it was actually gone. I love the character. I enjoyed some of the new characters that were introduced. Some of it was kind of formulaic but it's FX. I have been wondering about Raylan Givens ever since the last season. I'm glad I got to see more of the character. Everybody's gripe that this is not the same Justified is silly. They are literally stacking a show of several seasons and comparing it to one extra season. Of course the first several seasons are going to have more character development and more connection to characters and things of that nature you're not going to get that in Eight Episodes. The simple fact that the character is thrown into a situation where he is not familiar is an awesome thing because he has to deal with different elements that he's never dealt with before. Someone said it was silly that they didn't arrest Sandy even though they had the judges paint on her vehicle. Of course they didn't. It was a tactic so they could tail her. And yes the main villain was over the top but the point of that was to try and Show an example of someone who is obviously a criminal who has beaten the system and the corruption within the system. That's literally the entire point. People are literally ignoring main plot points because they want to see the same old justified. That is over. Raylan Givens in Harlan County is over.
