The entire premise for this show is absurd. I’ll be the first to admit that I am a skeptic of most paranormal shows, but this one makes squirm simply due to its idiocy. First off, what’s with the burlap sack over the head of these people if for nothing more than dramatic effect? A simple blind fold or other sensory deprivation item would be sufficient. Secondly, by placing people in these situations when they have NO experience with “paranormal investigation” is not only dangerous but potentially traumatizing. There is no evidence to suggest that this technique is effective, NONE! My third and final issue with this show is that someone with a basic understanding of human psychology can see what is going on in this show. If someone who already believes in and is fearful of something they’ve convinced themselves exist, you’re going to receive the reactions you seek by placing them in these situations. You’re simply capitalizing on their fear of the unseen. Everything about this show clearly relies upon the psychological state of their “bait”. A little research into human psychology by its audience would be a death blow to this show, just sayin.
