It’s not really good so far, I mean it’s very basic and it doesn’t match the show’s needs to be considered a drag star. On rupaul’s drag race, they actually judge based on things that are related to the drag world, but Canada’s drag race does none of these. The first judgement was to get the best photo, why of all things because being considered a drag star doesn’t relate to that in anyway shape or form. I feel like they are trying to relate being a drag star to being a top fashion model from Tyra’s show. I’m good with just watching rupaul’s drag race because it shows not just queens from the United States, but other queens from other countries. So Canada’s drag race is not needed to just show queens from Canada. Also I don’t like the aspect of that there are three main judges, it seems very low budget and not well thought of. It should be Rupaul as the main judge because it is centered around him. Or if not rupaul as the main judge, it should be another drag queen that was a part of rupaul’s drag race and succeed. In addition the workplace looks so plain and not related to drag race at all. It looks like they just put a big splash of blood on the door and pink paint with glitter all around it and a single photo of rupaul and a couple of wigs on the side of the room. Even the earlier years of rupaul’s drag race doesn’t even look like this. None of the judges are of drag race culture, but must watch the show on the regular. I wish we had judges that actually knew about drag like rupaul’s judges from her show.

Honestly, I really love this show as a whole, each cast holds onto its character trait. Every storyline works together; however, each episode always leaves me wanting more. Each episode is very short, I really wish it was longer like an hour or so, but the show is good overall. Issa keep doin whatever u doin girl!

Honestly, I like the show, but there are times when that can be questioned. All of the cast of the show is a bit too desperate for a man in their life, and some of the actors are a bit cringeworthy. For one, the mother of Karen is very unrelatable. I mean, Tyler Perry could have made her lines a bit better and picked someone else to play as Karen's mother. I know Mr. Perry is trying to have her as sort of a motherly figure to people, but at the same time, very in with trends and free to do whatever she wishes. Her character doesn't stand out much in terms of saying the right lines and playing the part. While Karen wants a man, but at the same time, denies that she needs one after Zac cheats on her for the last time. She ends up with this other guy who isn't suitable for her life because he brings unnecessary drama from his divorce. I don't understand why Karen still wants to be with him even when his ex's brother came to harm her at her house, and also how did he find out where Karen lives anyway??? And they don't call the police right away either when she guns him down after he attacks her and Zac. She instead leaves with Zac, and her mom stays there. I think the better choice was to call the police immediately and check if he is still breathing because if they were to leave the house with her mom, then she could be hurt by the guy she was with brother in law. Later she finds out from the police that the body is missing, so her mom probably hid him somewhere, he sneaked off, or someone got him out of there. This show is becoming a mess because he used to be about women having problems in relationships and trying to find themselves. Now it's turning into shows like The Haves and Have Nots or If Loving You is Wrong. I can understand why this show is changing, and that is because it needs more people to watch it. But the plot is getting a bit too similar and its starting to not make any sense. But this show is good; it just needs to relax on death and to add too much at the same time. When you put too much salt in food, it's not enjoyable anymore. That's just high blood pressure. This show is almost to the rim of salt, and it's starting to be too much. No disrespect to the casts or Tyler Perry, this show just needs to be changed a bit to suit the actual plot.

Honestly the opening is cringeworthy. The show kept switching to different topics and why are they dedicating the show to people in every video. Also I really hate how the transition music doesn’t match the show at all, I know it’s trying to be hip, but it’s just doesn’t suit it. The music that they dance to is just random r&b music you would expect to be from YouTube video maker. The whole show seems so low budget that I don’t even wish to take my time to watch anymore. And why does the children and adults call their grandma by her name, it’s weird. No black man calls their mom by their name (unless he wasn’t related to her) but calls their dad dad. That makes no sense to me. The kids call their grandma May’deer, that’s weird, real life black kids don’t call their grandma by their name if they do, they’ll get a beating. The kids don’t even get real punishments by their parents, they are spoiled rotten to the core, they get to choose their punishment, what black parent do that? Honestly the show might as well be a white show cause it’s pretty white except for moments like how police sees them. This show could be improved a bit more with some big changes and please don’t bring up twerking, we are not trying to be trendy with the kids these days, it’s cringy.

The live animated version was terrible, I wish they hired professional African voice actors rather than put a bunch of famous singers/actors in the mix, it just messes up the movie. Yeah I like Donald Glover and Beyoncé, but you gotta know when to add good singers like them in there. It seemed like a good idea on paper, however not such a good idea when you actually hear them in the movie. There really wasn’t any good parts either in the movie, they were all trashed out and every moment was cringe worthy.
