Can't review the game on the epic game store so i will settle with here. Having played the game most compared to WWZ, Left 4 dead 2 alot, i can say that this game feels like more of an attempt to surpass valves classic than its own independant game. Left 4 dead has 2 main weapon tiers? well World war Z has 3. L4D2 has meelee weapons? so Do we except you get it all the time and we have perks! and Stealth! and...... etc. If i had to describe its inclusion of features, its excessive and somewhat haphazard in very stark contrast to how economic L4d2 is with what it includes in the game. I am being harsh with WWZ admittedly, but only because alot of early video reviews of the game called it the "NEW LEFT 4 DEAD2" and i don't think thats accurate. The way you play the game more resembles the other good zombie game: killing floor 2. Like KF2, WWZ has perks and zombies generally kill you more so by overwhelming you as apposed to catching you at a bad moment. One very notable positive that i can say that this game totally owns though is how cinematic it can be. The game requires better computer specs for a reason, with the huge volume of zeds it can spawn used not only for fighting, but for great cutscenes. They may get old, but they are none-the less appreciated. Other small gripes (which may simply just be me not playing right) may include: scavenging issues (it takes time to open crates/ take items which means scavenging often causes someone to lag behind, compared to l4d2 where its not only quicker but more beneficial for everyone to stop as there is always somthign that a person could possibly want). Even though this game isn't for me i wouldn't criticize someone for liking it, just now it isnt going to recapture the magic of left 4 dead 2 as much as you think it would.
