The ending is truly heart warming when the boy turns around to see the monsters whine and disappear into thin air. The boys character dramatically changed as he went from marking a red X on top of his monster sketches to appreciating their work. Music is a major part of the film as its its way of communicating other than the sound and emotional faces. Truly very touching
