It's Ok, unfortunately it's not a patch on the Ministries version. I have read the book countless times. The Stand is my second favorite by King and what, for me, makes it so engaging is the build up of tension, the unfolding horror of an insideous foe that can even invade your dreams. This version has hardly touched on Flagg (now on ep4) . The acting is poor and frankly I can't get invested in the characters at all (aside Harold and possibly Stu). King doesn't often translate to the screen very well but this, for this modern era, is a huge let down.
