Poor ubisoft getting hammered for a great game. Bugs, sure. They are simple ones that should get patched soon.
Lots of microtransactions, yep. But all stuff you can get for free with no effort at all in the main game. Seriously, I'm old and younger, quicker gamers it should be easier. But if you lack the patience of a little game play you can spend your money to have it now. Nothing necessary in the store but it's nice to have the option of some shortcuts if I want them.
P2W? No. Read the previous statement.
Poor dialogue? No it's great and with professional voice acting. They even managed a unique storyline. It's nice to actually feel like the good guy. No political agendas with your guy. It's simple, protect innocent people and do the right thing.
Overall it's a wonderful game that brings in elements of different game types that will keep you playing and building for a long time. And that's with only day one content. They (Ubisoft) are trying to expand this genre to beyond a simple tactical shooter. Eventually they will find the perfect balance and have one great immersive and tactical environment for you to game in.
One last thing is greed. Is Ubisoft greedy? Look at the amount of content vs the price. WoT offers premium tanks for $60+ (for just one of them) and look at what you get. I just got Breakpoint with a massive and immersive environment, tons of professional gear, huge number of missions, solo or coop (regardless of level split) or pvp and years of entertainment for the price of a couple tanks of gas.
Thank you Ubisoft for your work and not being afraid of looking outside the box. You guys have made a lot of positive strides in the last few years.
