Maybe I over hyped it for myself? El Camino was a competently made film, with beautiful cinematography, great cast. This film feels like a call back rather than a standalone film which brings me to what I think is the flaw of this film, that it felt like I wants to tell more story but it only has 2 hour run time. Certain sequence of the film feels rushed, and a bit inconsistent in tone. Overall an alright film that gave good conclusion to the character Jesse Pinkman. Not a must watch but I would say re-watching Breaking Bad may enhanced your experience watching El Camino.
