I just loved the movie persuasion along with all its flaws...i really liked how they made it relatable to a 21st century woman who is full of flaws and feels every human emotion and doesn't need to present herself as a perfect maiden for courtship all the time...Dakota Johnson was phenomenal and it wouldn't be wrong to say that its her best performance till date...she made us feel the emotional turmoil that Elliott has suffered and is suffering..its good to see that the liberties taken with the adaptation weren't all wrong and added colours to the movie..For me Dakota is the Octopus who sucked me in.. iykyk😉
