When I watched this movie as a kid I was NEVER thinking, " look at the black people put in subservient roles"....that is a jaded adult thought. What I thought ( and thought I could pray about and God would answer😉) was that I wished upon wishes that Uncle Remus was my TRUE uncle or my Dad....I'd take either one!!! His characters love fir children, his kind heart even in this harsh world....man he kinda reminded me of the Jesus stories in the Bible..." Above all else- LOVE". We adults ( with our mean twisted spirits, screw things up🥺). I want my kids to see this so they will SEE that goodness& kindness wins!!!
