Reading this book was an opportunity to connect to the creative genius and bravery of Harvey Ovshinsky. He writes about the many ways he used various forms of media to educate, enrich and inspire his audiences. His storytelling is about the professional projects he pursued and also about and the impact his personal life had on the choices he made. I was raised in Detroit and feel like I've just read a history of the important stuff that happened during the 40+ years I was away from home.
