In short, the movie is good. Worth watching. Great actors with great acting. Decent storyline. Every sport based movies are a little predictable because it shows the struggle, fame, downfall and again victory. That is the main plot of every sports movie. The sub plot like the love story was really amazing and mature. Nothing cliche like a typical Bollywood movie. The music could have been more better and engaging. The rest is all good

Since when the audience have started rating movies only and only on the basis of lead actors or star cast. If this is the correct way of reviewing then i guess all the movies of favourite actors of the Nation would have got 5 star rating in every movie. So let's review a movie on every aspect of it. Its a Biography so dont expect and filmy twist and bollywood entertainment thing nor its a War film. It is a movie on the First Female Air Force Pilot of our country, and since she is THE FIRST, her struggles in the beginning of her career holds as much importance as her achievement. So basically the movie is about HOW she managed to became the FIRST FEMALE PILOT, as many of u may find it a bit on the feminist side. Its very well directed. They have covered the important aspects of her life in a very balanced way. The movie keeps us focused since the beginning till the end. Some of the dialogues are very well written. Though its a Biography but the msg comes out very clear. Finally the Cast. Yet again, Pankaj Tripathi has done a tremendous job. He can play any type of character with ease. Janhvi Kapoor has shown change in her acting skills and u will see the efforts of her in the movie. Its doesnt mean she has achieved a level of good acting, but we can appreciate her efforts. Overall its a very good and a motivational movie. I would give it a 4 star. Rating the movie low just because of the "Nepotism" thing will not make u any different from those who dont watch good movies just because of not a good starcast. So I would suggest everyone to please watch the movie and then rate.

They say "Dont judge a book by its cover", well... this perfectly suits the movie Gulabo Sitabo. The promo was not very appealing, it confused me a bit, but the movie on the other hand was quite good actually. So what made my mind change, lets have a look Story & Direction - The plot of the movie is very simple. It focuses on how a person can go to an extreme level of greed by picturising it in a humourous way. The story is interesting, it intrigues you to know what will happen in the end. The twist in the story was not predicatable at all. Nicely written and directed, though i felt dialogues could have been much more better and humorous as were the actors, coz they are the masters in this genre. The script was a little weak in the middle, as if they didn't know how to get to the end. But never the less it was good, they got their pace back in the end. Cast - I don't need to say anything about the cast. Actors will always make the best of what they have, and yes they did. Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushman Khurana, Vijay Raaz, Brijendra Kala all such profound actors. Shristi Shrivastava did really good as "Guddo" coz it is difficult to be noticed in a movie with such great actors. At first, i wanted to watch this movie only because of Amitabh Bachchan as i was kind of bored now watching Ayushman doing the same "UP wala middle class ladka" role, but as the movie moved on i found it interesting. There is nothing different or new about the movie but if you like to watch a movie just to enjoy the acting skills then you will definitely like the movie. Its a one time watch movie.
