I didn't like this book at all. It wasn't very engaging, when i read like the first 10 chapters I did not get the meaning of this book at all.I cannot fathom enough how boring this book was, its literally about a teen who goes around New York City and being depressed. Thats it. I don't understand how this book is considered "one of the best books ever written." Holden (the main character) is sad about everything and doesn't make sense at times. The way the book was written also did not help, it felt like it was written by a 6th grader and most of vocabulary consisted of repeated "goddamn"s...not very creative whatsoever.
