Mahesh does a good job of underplaying the CM’s role and is well supported by Prakash Raj ( very good). Though the solutions on offer are rather simplistic, the advice to people (and govts) to move towards self governance is certainly thought provoking. Sometimes one felt “if only Mahesh had a better voice”, he would have been far more impactful. The good part is there are no distractions like item songs and idiotic duets. Overall, a decent one time watch : with family. That cannot be said of most Telugu movies of today.
