This game is unlike anything I have really played. Its not for everyone, but it it can be with a right mindset. Its more of a journey than a game. If you let yourself relax a bit and just move forward a bit, it will draw you in with a level of emersion unlike anything else out there. What really makes it stand out is that the world that it inhabits, with all its outlandish tech and spriritual nonsense, feels completely real. Kojima is unique in that ability to make it seem the characters really live in this world, and few others craft stories in a way that feel so alive. If you can put yourself in the worn shoes of Sam Porter Bridges, you are in for a journey that will captivate and confuse you unlike any other experience in the world of gaming. Yea, the interface is a bit obtuse and the controls seem very weird, but once you are in it, they are actually perfectly intuitive for the type of gameplay you get. Its a game absolutely everyone should start. And its the type of story that is best walked into completely blind. This is how you pace a game, its quiet and contemplative, deeply moving, devastatingly sad, yet more upbeat that you would ever expect from a world torn by tragedy of a level that cant be comprehended. Its a game where the smallest of victories feel like a great accomplishment, and the rewards are heartfelt as you trek the lonely roads. Buy it, give it a sincere effort to take you in, and if its not for you, keep it on the shelf, because there will come a time when you feel tired, worn, or just down a bit, and its a game that will call back to you and give you a kind of hope and accomplishment that few other things can.
