Very clever, the astral projection and shining moments were played out seamlessly and so the fear factor was nothing short of horrific, the child murder scene was really hard to watch though and will stay with me for some time, not sure it needed to b that graffic, loved the return to the hotel, flash backs and the character of doc, he even glinted a Nicholson grin with dimples at one point, very good film, best in a long long time.
