I stopped breathing while watching it, not to mention trying to hold back the tears as i was surrounded by teenagers, well people who are way younger than me. hahaha!!!! arigatou gozaimashita Makoto Shinkai. Kimi no Na wa is a very good film, i like it too... but i prefer this Weathering With You, it has more depth, more realities, some scenes that somehow moved me, pictures that rekindles cherished memories. So, maybe i'm bias, but this is a movie i can relate to. I feel elated while watching it and after watching it. =)

it's really a good movie/story, somehow it captures the life of Filipinos abroad. the reality, the joy, the sacrifice, the friendship you formed, and the letting go. i like the fast face sort of intro, the flow and twist of the story, the ending and bit of comedy. But, NO part2 for me. I think a part2 would spoil it. the ending is beautiful as it is, why? because that's life, we really don't know where life brings us even if we try to control everything, let it be a surprise. And as long as OFW exist there will always be stories like this. =)
