Eh. I watched the animated version right after and enjoyed it way more. This movie was pretty but I didn't feel attached to any of the characters. With an extra half an hour they wasted so much time on the witch and not enough time building the characters I was meant to care for. I also wasn't a fan of Mulans character development. Felt too plot device-y and blatant girl power. The animated version did a much better job driving this point. Omar Khan's review on this movie is spot on.
