I tuned out after the space monkeys!!! Go see it and you'll see them. Lead doing his best Russell Crowe impression which is never a good thing for anyone to do, dodgy lines and some questionable CGI...boats, space monkeys and sharks......

Can't believe it was made! A story that has no real interesting features, a cast going through the motions (sometimes really badly) and jokes that are so off target I don't believe I laughed once. Sometimes you need something light and fluffy to watch to chill out and whilst this is light and fluffy it doesn't help you relax because of how bad it is. Avoid.

Not for me. This review is based on the first two episodes and I won't be progressing with it. Chunky dialogue, slow build up and dodgy accents at times. Didn't hold my attention im afraid.

Full of clichés, bad script writing and some pretty one dimensional characters. The whole premise is quite laughable for a train highjack in the UK and some of the acting is quite awkward. The action didn't hold me and the 'character building ' scenes didn't move me. Don't think the two leads were strong enough to carry it.

Really liked how the main focus of this film was the landscape, weather and natural sounds. Only covers first half of book but gives a very brave version, unusual camera angles, extremely naturalistic performances and the lack of a sound track was very welcome.

Not a great story and not hugely compelling. Sometimes it was difficult to hear what the lead actor was saying and all other performers seemed to be underused. Accents were sometimes a problem aswell. Not the gritty viking epic we were hoping for..

I only lasted 15 minutes. Not a laugh or decent line in that time to convince me that I would get any enjoyment out of this offering. Avoid.

2 episodes too long, long drawn out scenes and overly slow plot development..Ending was too soapy, but too American smaltzy and disappointing... Only watch it you have nothing else on your list.

It has Will Ferrell, it is about eurovision....... Is that not damming enough?

Predictable nonsense... Although Butler has a very unpredictable accent at times.... Stylised panic scenes and no real emotion.
