For people and respectable websites calling the show slow-paced, how short is your attention span? How jittery does an hour-long episode of foregrounding make you? Being a series it invests the greater space, qualitative of its species, it is alloted to grounds the show's context with great adroitness and to extraordinary effect within the eight or so hours and does not incur the sin of being boring. Such is the bolstering efficacy of those early episodes that the second half's denouement does not feel like a mere shot of adrenaline, soon abated, but resonates doubly for the pain-staking framing that preceded it, within which all the events occurs. If you're only looking for a quick-fix of a plot-twist, this is not the show for you. How can these reviewers completely fail to grasp the vision of the show, defining thriller within such a narrow conception? There are movies and shows which advance over-langorously to the point of stultification, and one cannot help but get vexed, which most certainly is not the case with this show. No praise will be enough for the two leads and their rancorous chemistry. Give it a watch and decide for yourself rather than get sold with second-hand opinions. We must as a race allow stories to unfold at its own pace and manner rather than force our ends and dictates over genres. We must be patient over all.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ To counteract the abysmal rating it has been accorded. Because above all this is a show that wins your heart over.
