Great part 1 excited to see part 2

Awful. Bad design, bad writing tries way too hard to be funny and never delivers. I was never a fan of the original, so the property isn't very precious to me. Feels like a cheap and lazy attempt to try to snag fans of modern zany animated shows. Not a win

Gets better after episode 8 but maintains all of its previous problems. Deus ex machina ending makes little sense and is unsatisfying. Lots of plot holes and inconsistencies, esp concerning She-ra's powers and aptitude. It is also fiercely unoriginal. It steals from much better shows, particularly the Avatar universe, a long line of she-ras after the last one just quit...please. bow is easily a carbon copy rip off of sokka, glimmer is katara, catra is a mix of zukko and Azula Shadow weaver is basically Zhao Hordak is KIND OF Ozai but he does nothing. And the planet being all tech negates the original's ideal of technology vs nature and magic (kind of) not great but does shine in spots. 4.5 out of 10.
