Was quite an interesting read up to page 300 but then it started to go wrong. The book was already plagued with having way too many characters with little back story to then and with little relevance to the plot. Hard to keep track. Hard to feel sympathy for any of them. It got boring after awhile. There were good tense bits and then it was decided to be cut off and then you would begin reading again about something boring and just irrelevant. The book certainly looks like it's just trying to drag. I couldn't finish the book I got fed up of it at around 370 dissapointing. I have a feeling Owen King had most of the influence on this book than Stephen did as usually I enjoy his writing but not this one

Originally I thought there would be more too it however it was just based in one area a hospital where he has to care for his daughter, I ended up enjoying this film and the director made this film very interesting with only one area of filming. Unique concept but far from a bad concept beats all common and cliche ‘Natural Disaster’ Movies big tsunamis snow blizzards and all that nonsense this film was brilliantly executed
