I don’t often get offended for things, however this strikes a little deeper. The Cellist of Sarajevo attempts to glorify the position of a serbian sniper in the war. Serbian snipers aren’t something to be glorified. They’ve shot babies out of crying mothers arms. Additionally, trying to mask the horrors of war with music or art in this way is just offensive. The tragic story of the cellist of Sarajevo shouldnt be covered in such a way.
