A true blue mystery with a pinch of father - son emotion. The plot is woven around a father and his son. The father has memory issues and he is constantly searching for something that revealed only towards the end. The son has recently lost his son which itself is only revealed much later into the film. The father's gun has gone missing.... Earlier when he had it, 2 bullets were missing..... All these missing pieces are tied together only towards the end.

I loved it. Megan Park is known for her directorial - the Fallout. Here, it's a lot different genre. Its kinda coming of age, sweet little movie. Daisy Stella stars as the lead girl who meets her older self who tries to help her avert a major upset. She warns the younger self to not fall in love with this guy 'chad" who eventually, she cannot help but do so! Not that Chad is a bad guy, he's terrific..... Too good to lose infact. The setting is very good here, all around a lake and woods. Cool movie about how emotions need to be unhindered no matter how naive they appear. Let em flow.....

This film named after one of the most intelligent birds, has daisy ridley playing an intelligent wife. The film has 3 main characters - others being her cheating husband and an actress, whose film their daughter is shooting for. It follows a typical Path of the husband character falling for another woman. Kinda boring yes. So, it had to have a clever climax. A twisted one. And, there's one, albeit a small one but saves the film from being rather too monotonous. A simple name swap goes a long way!!!

It's a fairytale adventure folklore kinda movie that falls flat. The three characters exist for the sake. Not enough depth in them. Not enough? Nil actually! It revolves around the theft of an ancient idol made from secret contents and particles of a meteor. The main character understandably, the one in the present time is whom the film is mostly about. But, there's nothing in it other than making him search the hidden idol all throughout besides getting ridiculed around for being the grandson of maniyan, the lead's other character, a thief. Pretty dumb movie........

Begins well with a very interesting premise where the lead actor keeps seeing another version of himself while also being followed by a stranger. It's a time travel concept where eye drops and a smartwatch are used to travel. The screenplay cuts through flashback and present time recurrently and the narration for the same doesn't click. Its rushed at times. Even when it's not, certain subplots are hard to comprehend. Does get a tad too complicated towards the end. And when it happens, one cannot help but wonder what the purpose all about!

Mari selvaraj 🙏 Amazing director with a real grip over the emotional core. The film is set in a village where 2 school going children involve in child labour (carrying unripe bananas over head) in the weekends. Mostly, it revolves around one of the 2 boys, his difficulties in managing both school and work despite being exceptionally good in academics. One day, he skips going to work at last moment to participate in the upcoming schools annual day event rehearsal following a string of events result in a tragic incident. These events highlight the entire context of the film including poverty, hunger, discrimination, slavery, subjugation etc Based on real events that are strongly related to the director himself, this one's a hard hitter.
