When I saw Mila Kunis on this cover, I knew I wanted to watch it. When I learned more about the story, it scared me to no end. Like I had to stop watching it for a little bit because it took me back to a time when I was in high school and I was friends with his guy, who liked me and I liked him back. We wanted to start dating so we gave it a try however it didn't go how I pictured it. But let me just say that nothing that severe happened to me, the way it did to Ani/Tiffani. It wasn't that bad for me but it still hurt immensely.
I've never experienced a school shooting but it sounds absolutely traumatizing. Like years of therapy in the works. Hats off to the survivors of the school shootings over the years.
But yeah, to that guy I thought I knew in high school, I hope I never see him again. I know we're supposed to forgive and love and I've never been a hateful person but I've made an exception for him.
So to conclude this rating, I'll give it a 4 out of 5 mostly because I don't like watching assault scenes. I know they're supposed to be awkward and horrendous, so they did great freaking me out. But other than that, it was great film. And one more thing, I'm so glad that Ani got the person who hurt her, to admit it and say the word.
Mila Kunis did a phenomenal job portraying this character. 👏 👏👏👏👏
