Incredibly entertaining YA comedy/drama with some dark horror themes that’ll make you cringe. Loved the whole movie start to finish. For me it represented the senseless death rates of teenagers in highschool. Whether it be teen suicides, drunk driving accidents or school shooting sprees. All of which, most times, no one sees coming and no one ever gets a good enough explanation for as to ‘Why?’. In the end every death just one more “spontaneous combustion”. With the movie ending in a lesson to the survivors and loved ones left behind that sometimes the world makes no sense; that terrible things can just happen and how it’s all just one more reason to live your life to the fullest while you still can.

This movie takes a part of you’re soul with it after watching. Kind of like The Human Centipede but a different kind of soul staining disturbance. The thrills, the scares, the plot twist and the mystery was great in my opinion. Very gripping film and great acting. I’ve never watched it more then once like I do every other movie because once was enough. My roomate and I turned off the tv during the ending credits and without being able to say a word to one another we cleaned up and went to our rooms to never discuss it again. It’s been years and I still can’t really shake it from my head. Worst part is how a version of this story is more then likely happening in real life.
