This movie could have been released in any other time, this is so much relevant to the world which is engulfed in corruption, systematic racism, oppression and everything that stands against for equality. The show is the perfect embodiment of the fact that times have rarely been changed, and it's a reflection of where we are today. Bashed and wrongfully convicted for raising our voices. The pacing is great, cinematography is amazing, the dedication that the actors show in portraying their characters is magnificent. But the thing that madee feel uneasy and shock was the sheer accuracy of how and depiction of riots, it was like going back in time and witnessing one of the important events of history, the gagging and binding of Seale was truly appalling and evoked all the rightful emotions in me, the racism depicted when the receptionist of the controversy picks up the phone and hears what presumably is the chide of racist and mysoginistic person in the line and deals with it is powerful yet humiliating with knowing how everyone gets dragged in it. And the main climax where Hayden recalls the events of riots, is most uneasy I've ever been. So all in all, this is a must watch movie for those who want to know, where the world is standing right now. Where we are. And what do we have to do next.
