Absurdist, pretentious movie that reminds me of a college student's senior film project...

A muddled mess of a movie, the plot has more holes than a spaghetti strainer, and the characters are creepy in an obnoxious way. There a few funny scenes here and there but mostly the skits make your skin crawl in discomfort.

This movie is bland, boring, and utterly pointless.

A cavalcade of plot holes, unlikely scenarios, absurd plot twists, and cardboard characters. The main female character's sister is murdered and no one even notices. The police are from a bad lifetime movie- absurdly impotent.

A pointless bloody mess of movie. It seems as though Ridley Scott has nothing to say in this story so he passes time with slaughter, mayhem, and explosions. Also the CGI special effects are cartoonish.

John Krasinski establishes himself as a confident, competent director with real vision with this action/suspense/horror movie. For me though, the film lacks depth, as the monsters are aimless, mindless spree killers.

Great actors trapped in a time waster of a movie.

Amoral nonsense. Really strong acting with few overdone oscar clips, wasted by a nonsensical plot and a psychopathic indifference to human life.
The Next Three Days

Easy-to-kill blind creatures the size of condors with gossamer wings somehow wipe out human civilization. Humans drove scarier creatures into extinction with stone tipped spears. I fail to see the logic of this random blend of The Birds, A Quiet Place, and Pitch Black.

The viewer is starved for information constantly while witnesses unbearable tedium punctuated with chaotic unintelligible action. The science is very bad and logic is very scarce. The main character risks everything to get to a radio to warn off an approaching spacecraft and when he does, he pauses repeatedly for dramatic effect.
