After being really disappointed with the Star Trek and Lost in Space reboots, this show is refreshingly good. It has its flaws for sure but overall it's very enjoyable with some progressive and complex crew interactions and cool visuals.
I would rate it a solid 8/10 and I really really really hope they bring it back for a second season.
