I live in Montana and I am at a loss in finding any cowboy anywhere in this state who has such a bucket mouth. It seems that it's acceptable to bathe in the "f" bomb word at every sentence and a requirement for that word to be in every sentence at least 4 times per actor! For me, that takes away from any acting or story line what so ever.
Our state is very beautiful. Our cowboys are very respectful, hard working, and just plain gentleman. You do not need to have such filthy mouthed scripts to make a great plot or story line. For me, Taylor might be the co creator and the writer but he needs to tighten up scripts and plots. Season 3 ended with the Dutton family in great peril. Season 4 starts with the attitude of "it wasn't much"! The plots have huge holes with unexplained happenings. Much wasted dialog with foul mouthed acting. Take out the constant rain of the f*^k and put in words that explain the plots better.
You don't need foul language to entertain!
I stopped watching in Season 4 after the second episode. I felt I needed a bath after watching the first 2 episodes. But eventually I picked up watching and caught up to episode 6. But still there is just not much to hold on to with the scripts.
I hope the writing improves and the swearing takes a much needed back seat. You could have a great series but for me, not this way.
