A lot of things to say about this game. As an experienced call of duty player who’s played since bo1 this game is decent. It has its strengths and it has its weaknesses, but what I can tell you is that it feels and plays better then Cold War. I know that’s not saying much but at least it’s a step in the right direction (maybe). If this game wasn’t made in a year and was given an extra 1-2 years it would be amazing. More realistic feel then ever and the guns are somewhat balanced (besides the stg and mp40). Maps are okay some bad and some good and but the good maps are above average decent maps but when it comes to bad maps they are terrible. Too much open land for headglitchers to kill you and mounters to kill you. Just like mw2019 a lot of headglitching spots, mounting, and doors lol. Another bad thing about this game is the visibility from different ranges. Some games i get killed and have no clue where those bullets came from only to see a dude laying prone in 200 meters away yet couldn’t see a thing (I have 20/20 vision). Leveling system I feel is good. Very easy to rank up and very easy to level up weapons (even though there’s a lot of levels) and operator. Very easy to complete challenges as well. Equipment such stuns and grenades aren’t overpowered which I think is alright considered in the past I’ve died to many grenade kills in other cod’s and the sbmm I feel is tuned down compared to last year. In Cold War you went off then the next few games you sucked but in vanguard it’s like how it should be you’ll have some really good games and some bad ones (better players will have more good then bad obviously). All in all vanguard has potential and in my opinion is a decent game.
