The Joker shows you real life through the eyes of a mentally unstable protagonist. It had us laughing when we shouldn’t have been, and feeling pain along side a character that we comic book fans have grown to hate and fear.
Arthur Is put in scenarios that feel relatable at first, but have strong elements of his mental health weighing down on the results differently than if a much more stable person were to be in the scenario.
Will say: although it is a very good movie, that tackles mental health in a strong, necessity way. It had a protagonist that was hard to relate too, due to the mental illness that, although is very real, we as the general audience don’t relate
