If possible I'd give this negative stars.
Short and sweet review to be followed by one in depth.
Save yourself the money and time. DO NOT WATCH IT.... Unless someone pays you very well to do so!
The film didn't suffer from numerous plot holes. The film itself was one major plot hole. Unless you are intimately familar with the tales of Sir Gawain and the many versions of said tales you will be lost and confused post haste.
The character development... Well... There wasn't any. At all. Whatsoever.
The action never made an appearance. No epic battles or duels of honor. No dashing romantic charges. Nada. Nothing.
The storyline line jumped around like a 98 yr old senior with severe dementia telling you a story of their childhood. Non of it making much sense.
A 5 yr old could make themselves more coherent and understandable than this film.
There were almost no verbal lines.
Sir Gawain is the only named character in the entire film with the sole exception of the Green Knight.
My fiancee fell asleep a couple times watching this and honestly I considered taking a nap too. Just to get something worthwhile from the time.
Don't make our mistake. Don't watch it. Don't let your friends watch it. Unless, you really don't like someone or want to prank them.
