I’ve read and loved all of Tana French’s novels, but have been on the fence about this one due to the bad reviews... they’re right. This book is hard to finish. Everything is over described and so many details are repeated. The main issue I have is Toby’s constant complaints about his mental/physical issues. He’s horrible and I found myself not caring about him or this story at all.
