Nathan Broman

The show seems to be getting better as the episodes progress but is kind of clumsy, particularly the first episode. Having read the books I can understand what they are trying to do with some of it but if I was not already invested in this series I never would have made it past the first episode. Character and plot development is weak, trollocs are goofy looking, "battles" are underwhelming and unrealistic (particularly 20 guys bum rushing a bunch of channelers...). I hope it succeeds because I've been waiting for this for 15 years, but I'm expecting it to be canceled.
